Mainly used as a sleeping pill, but also for anxiety, nervousness, fatigue, and menstrual pain. It probably dates to the 1930s. (In 1935, they began to notice complications from the medicine). The tin is in good condition overall and still has the paper inside. It measures about 2 1 2" by 1 1 8".
