This would have contained several clear plastic protractors and similar devices to assist the crew in laying fields of fire using a map

It is dated 1942

White Seamed Stockings (Nurse) Size 9 1/2 Book which seems odd but IVintage 1940s white back seamed stockings for nurse uniforms. They are a heavier weight than silk or nylon and are most likely a cotton or cotton blend. There are a few brown specks on the foot. There is a small repair on the heel. The foot measures 9 1 2" long and the stockings are 28 1 2" long. These were picked up in Germany, but work great for US or German impressions.
