Probably vegetable dyed

and cool dark charcoal

the black doesn't come all the way through

with a soft smooth surface

Grayish Blue One Stripe and Semi-Visible Grid Vintage Kimono Silk Pieces 14" x 50" from Japan # ZP-41 15/16" Button We're guessing/assuming 100% Silk -Various blues woven with lots of black, and an overall rectangular grid pattern; every other block is more or less black and a slightly different weave, creating light play and hid and seek. This silk is thin and light, with a subtle slubby texture. Both sides are the same. Very supple and soft, with a bit of drape and no shine. These pieces are from a dis assembled kimono, in excellent condition, probably 1980's. 100% Silk. Japan. Sold per piece.
