KATO 10-1599 Hanawa Line Freight Car Eight Car Set (8-Car Set) Tamiya wheels Series 103 has been assigned[Product introduction] We will commercialize a wagon set that can reproduce the image of a freight train driven by 8620 type seen on the Hanawa line during the JNR era. Freight transportation on the Hanawa Line is operated by connecting auxiliary equipment between Iwate Matsuo (currently Matsuo Hachimantai) and Arao Shinmachi to overcome the 33km continuous slope at the summit of Ryugamori (currently Appi Kogen).
