Embroidered Mouse on the (Cheese) Moon Statement_Light - double gauze cotton thatWhile working through a collection of embroidered houses and handmade moons, the idea morphed into a moon made of cheese and then naturally, a Mouse on the Moon! Duh. I stitched the center of the wooden mouse (handmade by a talented couple down in Florida) in my favorite French Knots. The cheese moon is hand sculpted, complete with craters and bumps and texture! Then I chose a special, chunky teak bowl with really beautiful wood grain, to frame it all
