Everyday Namokcook: Ten Simple Korean Recipes digital culture Konrad SteffenNamok is my mothers name, and her food is my favorite. Growing up, I was lucky to eat delicious home cooked meals from her and her food set the standard of taste for me. Her cooking did not always follow the traditional way, but she created her Namok cooking. When I left South Korea and began living alone in a foreign country, I started cooking the dishes I missed. I tried to recall the food my mother had made for me and re created the meal in my way.
