Georgian Garnet Cushion Cluster Ring vintage with light vintage patinaGorgeous antique cluster ring dating from the Georgian period, with clear London hallmarks from the year 1828. The cushion shaped head is furnished with a foil backed flat cut garnet centre, set within a halo of lustrous natural pearls in fine crimped mounts. It's crafted in 18ct gold with ornate, trifurcated shoulders and an inscription to the back of the head (just to worn away to read) suggesting it was commissioned as a memorial mourning piece.
