the plique a jour (literally "let in the day") enamel is very hard to make and the design is a mix of German Jugendstil and French art nouveau

The workmanship is outstanding from the engraved flattened slider to the hand made links to the lovely little spiral engraved T bar which turns in its holder and makes your eyes go funny

We'd love to work out who the maker is but the marks are only partially struck and very hard to read (white gold is rhodium plated and this has further taken away
